You may have heard by now about the American website Bag, borrow or steal where you can borrow a designer handbag for a certain amount of time. There is also a U.K version too. It's a bit like renting a dvd kinda of cool is'nt it?

For a monthly fee ranging from £11 to £55, customers can borrow a handbag (now jewellery too) of their choice for as long as they like and then swap it for another.

Bag, borrow and steal are not the only ones though there is www.rentfame.com which operates a pay as you go system and has a cheaper monthly rate too of $7.99.

If you can afford it you should try it out at least you can still be diva and keep up with the latest trends.

Right the month ain't over I know but I thought I would use this time to remember Aaliyah who passed away five years ago on the 25th August.
Aaliyah was quite da style icon back then she went from tomboy to sexy woman as she matured. I always thought she was way too pretty to be doin thug but she was beautiful all da same. She was talented and an artist you appreciated. Aaliyah is definately missed. R.I.P

America's Next Top Model Cycle 7 is here. Yippee!!!

I love this show so i had to post it and it does have a bit to do with fashion..lol. Same judges as last cycle for this one. Is it me or has one of them girls got seriously long brows? The black or Asian girl in the front row is stunning and the girl next to her looks a little like Reese Witherspoon. Anywhoo i can't see a winner yet but there some pretty girls in the bunch of course.

Also known as Debbie Harry. This woman was queen of the charts in the late 70's and 80's with her band Blondie. What i liked most about her was her fashion sense. She was totally sexy and funky. She wore the electric colours, shoulder pads and stone washed denim and wore them well. Her hair and make-up were always on point and very in-style. I believe her style which was very trend-setting has inspired many a rock chick but she remains the ultimate rock chick.

On the runway for Autumn was tartan. If like me tartan just makes you think of Scottish people and Bag Pipes now think haute couture. Hard trend to pull off so only fior the brave. I think tartan is much nicer when not in the traditional red and navy colours.

Leggings what do u think?

Now some of you may already be putting these away but don't just yet as i feel that leggings may be around long into Winter. Some of you may be praying for the day these cut off tights dissapear for the rest of eternity. Lol. Me though i like em sorry i'm an 80's baby who absoulutely adores anything from that decade including leggings.

How to wear to them

Yes we see many a slim long legged celeb stepping out in em looking uber cool. You can too but i must stress that they won't suit everybody. Sorry. So first of all make sure you got the right length. ALWAYS make sure that the leggings stop at the thin part of your calf/ankle.

Either under a mini-skirt, dress or an overiszed jumper leggings will surely look great.

Wear them with boots, heels or ballet pumps.

Don't be too scared to try some colour and subtle patterns. The most popular and versatile look though is to keep them black.
